The BMW Group plant in San Luis Potosí is preparing for production of the New Class: work has begun on the construction of a local high-voltage battery assembly facility as well as the expansion of the body shop as well as assembly and logistics areas. 800 million euros will be invested in expanding the Mexican production site.
