• Northumberland-based battery company Britishvolt has avoided collapse by securing additional funding for the business.

• Canoo (NASDAQ: GOEV), a leading high-tech advanced mobility company has announced a battery module manufacturing facility at MidAmerica Industrial Park in Pryor, OK. The new facility will expand Canoo’s manufacturing and employment footprint in the region.

• The high energy prices are probably slowing down the construction of Northvolt’s planned battery factory in Germany. Northvolt CEO Magnus Carlsson confirmed this in an interview. A decision has not yet been made, but Northvolt is already considering an alternative location.
